Our Story
Where we started
We started with a simple question: why do the most frequently used objects in a home so rarely look like they belong there?
The dish drying rack. The bath mat. Objects you reach for every single day. Objects that sit in the most visible spaces in your home. Objects that, almost universally, look like afterthoughts.
We decided to change that — starting with the objects that spend the most time in view.

“Everyday objects, elevated — made to live in beautiful spaces for a very long time.”

The material
Diatomaceous earth is a naturally porous mineral formed from the fossilised remains of microscopic algae — diatoms — over millions of years. It absorbs moisture instantly. It evaporates that moisture fast. It resists odour by nature.
No synthetic coatings. No artificial treatments. No off-gassing. The material works because of what it is, not because of what was added to it.
And it looks the part — a natural stone surface that belongs in a considered home.
The standard
01
Natural materials
Stone with no synthetic coatings or artificial treatments. Every surface is the material itself.
02
Considered design
Every dimension and detail serves the object's purpose and place. Nothing decorative that isn't also functional.
03
Long-term ownership
Well-cared-for stone mats last significantly longer than fabric equivalents. The object that doesn't need replacing.
The collection
Two products. One material. Designed for the kitchen counter and the bathroom floor — every surface where water meets stone.
